Formed originally from the pressure to move away from the use of toxic Barium Carbonate powder, Octagon Overseas Limited uses its technology and expertise to suspend a wide range of chemical additives and colours.
Octagon Overseas has manufactured BAC60 – 60% barium carbonate suspension – since 1990 for the treatment of soluble salt scumming. In 2000, Octagon Overseas launched BAC70 – 70% barium carbonate suspension – as a higher density product to reduce the amount of water being transported when the product is delivered to the end user.
